Zona Gardens is a Tucson-based studio focused on landscape design, garden writing, speaking, and photography. Zona Gardens is the brainchild of Scott Calhoun, a fourth-generation Arizonan with a passion for the desert environment and desert-appropriate design. Scott is the author of six books about the plants, gardens, food, and people of the desert Southwest. When he isn’t drafting garden plans or writing about plants, he is often found sampling tacos or riding his bicycle through Saguaro National Park.
