In spring, the native perennial damianita daisy bursts into bloom in tidy hemispheres–like gumdrops of pure gold. In the Hanson’s Civano garden, damianita daisy and beavertail cactus grow side-by-side in the narrow planting bed outside the courtyard wall. Inside the courtyard, we remodeled the space to include a half-height ocotillo fence and a barbecue area under the filtered shade of a Desert Museum palo verde tree.   Hanson7 Hanson6 Hanson5 Hanson4 Hanson3 Hanson1 Hanson2
